As the lead Garment & Print Development Technician, I worked collaboratively with Production, Buyers, Merchandisers and Head of Design.
Day to day I was responsible for overseeing the development of new collections from initial concept through to final samples before production.
My role included:
Creating detailed technical sketches and tech packs for off-shore production.
Measuring and grading garments. Attending fitting and communicating fit comments to factories. Drafting and amending patterns for manufacture, construction of samples in house.
Developing prints and providing in depth print direction, working closely with off shore factories to ensure quality, continuity and execution of artworks
